history
Our history
It was back in 1973 when the Adami Brothers founded Casone SpA on the ground named “I Casoni”.
Since then, the company has never stopped growing in the name of innovation, research, and development. In the 1980s some prestigious awards such as the Italian Oscar for Packaging and “Eurostar” the European Oscar for packaging reward the company for its innovative capacity.
In 1990s the production area was extended by 23.000m², along with the diversification of our business markets.
The new millennium introduced important technological and organizational innovations: such as the transition to electrical machinery, a new test laboratory with specific equipment’s for quality control inspections, a wide semiautomatic warehouse, extension of the production lines and new moulds.
Nowadays the company is successfully managed by the first and second generation. It exports in the main European and international markets and employs more than 140 staff members.

In 1973 the company was born on the farm of the family Adami
Between 1996 and 1997 the company introduced for the first time working methods for ensuring the correct identification and traceability of production information at all stages of the cycle. These initial working methods were improved in 1999 by becoming part of a structured and documented system of procedures and instructions.
In 2001 the company set up barcoding of all its products as well as computerized management of batches and locations through a radio frequency system and a dedicated software.
In 2002 the new shop floor was built and Casone began manufacturing equipment and machinery both for internal use and for sale.
In 2005 Casone developed IML technology and has invested in new production lines and moulds, thus boosting its business in medium-large companies and increasing its presence in the food sector.
In 2011 a new laboratory was set up with specific equipment for testing materials and for quality control.
In 2015 a new warehouse of 2,500 mq is completed to support the increase in manufacturing capacity due to the installation of five new production lines in March 2012.
Casone is looking to the future, thanks also to a second generation who for years now have been strongly integrated in the organization and involved in the company’s strategies. Commitment in the present and to the future is the child of awareness of one’s own past.
The foundations of Grandfather Francesco’s farm and the historical “pear tree” deliberately preserved when planning the new building are there, discreet and silent, to remind one of the past every day.
