Carbon Footprint of Organisation UNI EN ISO 14064-1:2019

In continuing on a path towards a virtuous circular economy, aimed at limiting CO2 emissions and after having obtained the Plastic Second Life certification in 2020, Casone today strengthens its commitment with 2 more important goals

– the quantification of greenhouse gas emissions and equivalents by a Third Party Entity, according to UNI EN ISO 14064-1:2019 Carbon Footprint of Organisation;

– the associated CFO Carbon Footprint Italy mark

The Carbon Footprint is an environmental indicator of the impact that human activities have on climate change: it expresses the amount of greenhouse gas emissions associated directly or indirectly with a product, organisation or service.

When calculating the Carbon Footprint, not only carbon dioxide (CO2) is taken into account, but all gases that impact the climate and are covered by the Kyoto Protocol (1997).

Casone Spa will strive to limit the emissions of CO2 and equivalent gases generated by its organisation in the coming years.
